European CANSO CEO Committee (EC3)
The European CANSO CEO Committee (EC3) governs and directs CANSO’s work in Europe, within the framework of the organisation’s global policies and positions. EC3 is supported by the Director European Affairs and a number of subsidiary groups, primarily the CECM. EC3’s key objective is to focus CANSO’s influence in the development of the Single European Sky.
CANSO European Coordination Meeting (CECM)
The CANSO European Coordination Meeting (CECM) works under the guidance and instructions of the EC3 in the development of policies and actions on questions of strategic interest to CANSO’s European Members. The CECM deals with issues including EUROCONTROL, the Single European Sky (SES) and the discussions with the European branches of the other industry associations.
All European regional policies are developed within in the context of CANSO global policy.
CANSO Ad Hoc Groups
Ad Hoc Groups - as the name implies - meet only as required to work on specific topics, such as one or more Single European Sky (SES) mandates.
Aeronautical Information
The Aeronautical Information ad hoc group is currently considering the potential impact of the proposed single Aeronautical Information Publication for European airspace above FL285. publications

Charging
The Charging Ad Hoc group is considers SES-related issues, such as the setting of rates within Functional Airspace Blocks (FABs) and the different charge rates for upper and lower airspace, in addition to wider issues such as the different models for charging schemes (cost recover v price caps). publications

Common Requirements
The Single European Sky will make significant changes to the current regulatory schemes in place across Europe. The Common Requirements Ad Hoc Group seeks to ensure on the one hand that regulatory changes provide a level playing field and on the other hand that they are not over-prescriptive or disproportionate in their impact when applied to smaller operations. publications

The CANSO Social Dialogue Partnership
CANSO as the global civil air navigation services organisation is the acknowledged representative of the ANSPs in the European Union's Sectorial Social Dialogue (SD) for Civil Aviation. Within this civil aviation Social Dialogue CANSO actively participates in the ATM Sub-group. Within this ATM sub-group our Social Partner is the Joint Air Traffic Management Work Group (JATMWG) of the European Transport Workers' Federation (ETF).
The objective of the CANSO Social Dialogue Partnership (CSDP) is to involve all ANSPs within the European Community, including the Accession States, so as to ensure a consolidated input from the ANS sector employers regarding related sectorial social dialogue.
