The SSC was created to support global ANSP cooperation in the field of Safety Management. Safety is absolutely fundamental to our industry. We are all committed to making the skies safer every day. To underline this commitment all Safety Directors of the CANSO Membership meet regularly in the SSC.
CANSO Members devote much of their resources to safety programs. Members believe that an active global exchange of safety experience and information assists the development of stronger domestic safety initiatives. The SSC provides a unique opportunity for senior safety personnel to contribute to the improvement of the safety of individual ANSPs and the aviation industry.
The SSC Work Programs are focused on the following workstreams: Operational Safety Improvement; Safety Information Exchange; Safety Metrics Development; and Safety Culture
