Jeppesen joins CANSO as associate member
April 23, 2007 CANSO, the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation, has announced that Jeppesen has joined the organisation as a new associate member.
Jeppesen delivers navigational and operational information that makes it possible for pilots and their passengers to safely and efficiently reach their destinations. Jeppesen is a subsidiary of Boeing Commercial Aviation Services.
“CANSO will play an important role in ensuring the global ATM system is positioned to meet the demands of the future,” said Sandy Stedman, Jeppesen’s Vice President for Industry Relations. “Jeppesen welcomes the opportunity to participate in these activities in support of CANSO.”
“Jeppesen’s continued global drive for excellence in AIS data closely matches CANSO’s desire to improve global ANS provision”, said CANSO Secretary General Alexander ter Kuile. “Our association is considerably strengthened by the arrival of Jeppesen in the global ATM family.”
