Eurasia

The Eurasia region of the world primarily constitutes Russia and the Confederation of Independent States (CIS) countries. With some major new investments, Air Traffic Management in the Eurasia region is modernising rapidly and a number of airspace reforms have been instigated. CANSO members in the region - AZANS (Azerbaijan), Sakaeronavigatsia (Georgia), Kazaeronavigatsia (Kazakhstan) and the State ATM Corporation of Russia - are working closely together to improve Eurasia's regional coordination. CANSO is preparing the launch of a work programme to assist these Members later in 2009/early 2010.
