The Human Resources Workgroup supports the creation of global Human Resources standards in Air Navigation Services, exchange information on ANSP Human Resources activities, initiate joint programmes between ANSPs where possible, seek Best Practice in ANSP Human Resources activities and consider new Human Resources Tools and Systems. The Workgroup continues to progress its three key priorities for 2008-9 which are:
- Change Management – identify and publish Best Practice Guidance for AGM 2009;
- ATCO Shortages – Develop Best Practice Guidance for Selection, Recruitment, Training and Workforce Planning;
- Develop People Metrics – Develop a range of metrics to benchmark ATCO performance in remuneration, overtime, absenteeism, turnover, and retention.
