Graham Lake Director General

Graham heads the Secretariat and manages the association’s day-to-day business. As our prime ambassador, he represents CANSO on the global stage and represents the world’s ANSPs in the international aviation arena.

Industry Affairs

Samantha Sharif Director Industry Affairs
Samantha oversees CANSO’s global work programs and Workgroups and supports global strategy development and implementation. CANSO’s work programs are currently focused in the areas of ATM Safety, Environment and Business Transformation.
Brendan Booth Safety Manager
Brendan is responsible for leading the delivery of the CANSO Safety Program including the Imagine 2010 goals. The objective of the work is to give practical help and add value to the membership through coordination of the activities with the Safety Standing Committee, Executive Committee Champion, and others.
Tim Rees Environment Manager

Tim is responsible for leading CANSO's environmental objectives by working with the CANSO Global Environment Workgroup. The mission of the group is to promote the need to deliver air traffic management in ways that mitigate the impact of aircraft operations on the environment.

Gudrun Held Director Business Transformation

Gudrun is responsible for leading CANSO's Business Transformation (BT) program. She works closely with the Members and the Chairmen of our Workgroups, plus our regional offices, to identify the key BT issues and to define and begin transformation actions and activities.

Dan Smiley Programme Manager, ATM Operations

Dan’s main role is to ensure the development of the Operations Standing Committee work programme. He coordinates the implementation of the OSC work through the CANSO Membership and regional offices, and represents the Committee at CANSO meetings and events, and through liaison with industry stakeholders.

Communications

Chris Goater Director of Communications
Chris leads CANSO's communications activities, working closely with the Secretariat in developing the Association's messaging. He is responsible for the CANSO Website and all CANSO publications including 'Airspace', the CANSO's flagship magazine.
Timothy Hoy Communications Manager
Tim’s duties include Member communications, website management, and database management.

Marketing & Events

Marc-Peter Pijper Director Products & Services
Marc-Peter is responsible for the development, implementation and management of CANSO’s commercial activities and the organisation of all major CANSO conferences and events. He also manages CANSO’s marketing activities, which includes Membership acquisition and advertising.
Anouk Achterhuis Marketing & Events Coordinator
Anouk's main role is to provide general support to CANSO's Marketing & Events activities, including event coordination, conference registrations and marketing & e-commerce back office work.

Office & Member Relations

Esther Brouwer Office Manager
Esther is responsible for the overall administrative coordination of the CANSO offices, finance, personnel, suppliers & contract management. She also supports the Executive Committee and is in charge of Member Relations.
Yvette de Klein Office Secretary
Yvette's main role is to provide general support to CANSO’s Office Manager; activities include Global ATM-net user management, maintaining the contact database and Work Group meeting coordination.

Asia-Pacific Regional Office

Chiang Hai Eng Director Asia-Pacific Affairs
Hai Eng is responsible for CANSO’s Asia Pacific Office in Singapore. He represents CANSO’s interests in the region and coordinates the activities of its Asia Pacific members to promote and facilitate the development of air navigation services in the region.

European Regional Office

Guenter Martis Director European Affairs
Guenter heads CANSO's activities in Europe. He represents ANSPs in Eurocontrol, the Industry Consultation Body, the SESAR Joint Undertaking Administrative Board, and co-chairs the EU Social Dialogue.
Vanessa Rullier Manager Regulatory and Social Affairs
Vanessa supports CANSO's contribution to the EU Social Dialogue as well as several SES Mandates. Vanessa monitors developments in environment and safety, and assists with CANSO communications.
Karsten Tilenda Director European ATM Operations
Karsten’s responsibilities include leading CANSO’s work within EUROCONTROL, particularly on SCG issues and other topics such as ACID. He is also working on defining the details of the SES II network manager role, and attends the ICB interoperability subgroup, supporting the CANSO interoperability group. Karsten also plays an important role linking the CANSO Operations Standing Committee and the IATA Operations Committee on important European matters.

ICAO Liaison Office

Eugene Hoeven Director ICAO Affairs
Eugene represents CANSO and its Member ANSPs at ICAO, the world-wide forum for international civil aviation, and manages CANSO's interface with this specialised United Nations Organisation on a variety of strategic policy and regulatory issues affecting ATM.

Middle East Regional Office

Salem Jahdli Director Middle East Affairs
Mr. Jahdli joined CANSO in June 2009 as Director Middle East Affairs on secondment from GACA Saudi Arabia. As well as leading CANSO activities in the Middle East, Mr. Jahdli is working to expand the Association’s presence in the region.
