CANSO Africa Conference 2018
The CANSO Africa Conference 2018 focused on improving efficiency through collaborative decision making and air traffic flow management.
This conference offered insight into the latest air traffic management (ATM) processes, procedures and technologies that can help manage growing air traffic and transform ATM performance.
With a focus on collaborative decision-making (CDM), air traffic flow management (ATFM) and performance-based navigation (PBN), participants learnt about CANSO Member experiences in these areas in Africa and other regions. They participated in interactive discussions on implementing CDM, ATFM and PBN to achieve safe, efficient and effective Africa-Indian Ocean (AFI) Seamless Sky.
The conference was held in Mombasa, Kenya, from 3–5 September, hosted by Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
