A game-changer in Flight Operations and Air Traffic Management

NAVBLUE might be a new name in the flight ops market, but its collective history spans more than 50 years. Airbus Group’s acquisition of Navtech builds upon both companies’ rich heritage and digital innovations to create a reputable service provider that’s agile enough to outpace the competition.

In Spring 2016, Airbus’s flight operations product portfolio, including its EFB suite, breakthrough runway overrun protection system (ROPS) safety solutions, and Airbus ProSky navigation services, merged with Navtech, a leading global provider of flight ops solutions whose flight planning and e-chart capabilities – along with performance-based navigation solutions, aeronautical charts, aircraft performance software and more – compliment Airbus’s offerings. The strategic acquisition and subsequent formation of NAVBLUE positions Airbus as a complete flight operations solutions provider and further develops Navtech’s services, providing customers with integrated aerodata solutions designed for airlines’ digital transformation.

NAVBLUE is a new generation of digital, user-friendly Flight Operations and Air Traffic Management solutions provider.   Combining the best of both worlds, it is fuelled by the agility of Navtech and the pioneering spirit of Airbus.  It is a leading global provider of flight operations solutions serving more than 400 airlines and aviation service companies across all platforms.  NAVBLUE has a proven track record in product innovation and providing its customers with the agile solutions based on the best data, fully supporting them in their digital transformation.

NAVBLUE is a fully owned subsidiary of Airbus and is based in Hersham (UK), Toulouse (France) and Waterloo, ON (Canada), with offices around the world.
