ENAC continues its global expansion by participating in the improvement of air transport safety in the ASEAN Zone

11 April 2016

Upon the request of the Civil Aviation Authority of Philippines (CAAP), ENAC (Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile) will be delivering an Advanced Master in “Aviation Safety Management” in Manila, the Philippines.

One of the main objectives of this Advanced Master is to provide participants with a strong safety culture and a global view on aviation safety, as well as awareness of safety issues holistically. For all these reasons, this program covers safety related issues to all aviation stakeholders: aircraft manufacturers, airlines, airports, ANSP (Air Navigation Services Provider), MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) and ATO (Approved Training Organisation).

This program provides the participants with the necessary knowledge about ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) requirements stated in Annex 19 and the regulatory framework, but it will also provide them with some practical tools to implement a SSP (State Safety Program) or a SMS (Safety Management System) in their organisation.

This program, derived from the existing “Aviation Safety Advanced Master” delivered at ENAC main campus in Toulouse, will be delivered abroad for the first time, to address the needs of civil aviation stakeholders of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) region, and especially the ones of the Philippines.

Airbus and EASA ‘European Aviation Safety Agency” are involved in this program by financing it and delivering some courses.
