Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is the legal personality and administrative independence to the authority responsible for various regulatory and legislative aspects of civil aviation affairs in the Sultanate of Oman. In addition, it works on the provision of air navigation services and the National Service of Meteorology.

CAA’s vision is to be renowned for civil aviation safety and security, the excellence of its people and the value it creates for Oman.

To achieve its vision CAA regulates all aspects of civil aviation activities in line with international standards ensuring safety, security and environmental protection.

In addition, CAA’s  promotes and expands Oman’s civil aviation interests worldwide, while nurturing technical and leadership skills of local talent.
