World ATM Congress combines a large-scale exhibition, world-class conference, and premier networking opportunities with the chance to learn about the latest air traffic management trends and developments.
World ATM Congress is organised for the industry, by the industry. Operated by CANSO in partnership with ATCA, it is backed by leading air navigation service providers and industry suppliers. It brings together the entire global air traffic management (ATM) community.
A Closer Look
The fourth edition of World ATM Congress hosted 7,175 registrants from 133 countries. For the fourth time Ana María Pastor Julián, Spain’s Minister of Public Works and Transport, opened the Conference. During the two well attended Conference mornings leading industry speakers debated remote towers, the implications of new entrants into the system, and forecasted the short- and long-term future of aviation.
In the Exhibition, 225 organisations showcased the latest ATM industry technologies and innovative aviation products like flight and remote tower simulators, sensors, and radomes and hosted several high-profile industry deals signings such as mergers and partnerships. Several events took place as well, including the European Commission's Single European Sky Awards. Five theatres featured over 80 hours of presentations, including product demonstrations and launches, from over 55 leading aviation professionals from industry, government, labor, and educational institutions.
The next World ATM Congress will take place 7-9 March 2017 in Madrid. World ATM Congress has signed a five-year extension with the exhibition venue IFEMA till 2022.
