World ATM Congress Conference announces new keynote speaker

23 February 2015

World ATM Congress announces that Peter F. Hartman, vice chairman, Air France-KLM will be the keynote speaker for the delegate's programme and will present at 10.00 on 10 March in the World ATM Delegate Theatre. The award-winning World ATM Congress will be held in Madrid on 10-12 March and is expected to draw in excess of 6,000 professionals from more than 100 countries representing the entire air traffic management (ATM) industry.

As keynote, Mr. Hartman will expand on the World ATM Congress programme theme, "Smart Choices in a Challenging Environment," which explores how the ATM industry can best respond to the challenges of today and tomorrow. He will offer the perspective of an airline executive with intimate knowledge of airline industry matters at the global and association (IATA) levels.

We are also honoured that Ana Maria Pastor Julian, Minister, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Spain, will be opening the conference.

The conference takes place on the mornings of 10 and 11 March as part of the larger World ATM Congress event held at the Feria de Madrid, which features three days of free education and an exhibition representing 196 organizations. For the first time, the Conference Delegates' Theatre will be located in the centre of the action on the exhibition floor allowing delegates more efficient use of their time spent at the Congress.

World ATM Congress has grown in size and reputation, allowing it to keep the pledge it made three years ago at its inaugural - to reduce costs as the quality continues to increase. Registration fees for the programme have reduced by nearly half and include two lunches where participants are able to share their perspective and experience regarding the most pressing issues affecting the industry.

The conference programme will present three informative sessions, each with an impressive roster of experts addressing a different challenge:
